Higher education faces several long-term and immediate-term challenges in attracting future students. Morning Consult’s Most Trusted Universities research — a survey based on a representative sample of 11,050 U.S. adults — shows that trust is one of the leading metrics of brand health of a university as it is the key to unlocking the potential for growth in enrollments and endowments.
While higher education holds strong public trust compared with other U.S. institutions such as the government, corporations and the media, the level of trust in colleges and universities is lower among one of the most critical segments of the population: young adults. This shows trust gaps by one of the key demographics that is critical for shaping the future of higher education.
In our upcoming webinar, we uncover public trust in the top 135 doctoral research universities, as detailed in the U.S. News’ 2022 Best National University Rankings, and highlight the importance of bridging the trust gap in order to strengthen university brand health and impact. This webinar will also include a panel discussion with university leaders on the importance of measuring and tracking communication metrics that matter to institutional brand health on the foundations of analytics and insights.
